I’M NEW HERE

WHERE AND HOW TO START

WORDS FROM PASTOR JOE

GREETING MESSAGE

Hello and welcome to our church website, it’s always a real joy for us to meet and have new members in our church family. We are so glad to have you! Whether you’re just passing through or looking for a church home we welcome you with joy! Come as you are!

Whatever that next step is, it’s time to take a bold step of faith out of your comfort zone and discover what God has for you. We believe that you can’t go with God and stay where you are.

If you want to meet with one of the pastors or just find out more about New City Nairobi, you can fill out a visitors slip and drop it into the offering basket, or call: Pastor Joe at 0733 622 960 or email joe@ncfnairobi.org

WORSHIP INFO

General Information

We meet at 11.00 AM every Sunday morning at Amani ya Juu (click here for map: Google map- Amani ya Juu).  We have a staffed nursery with workers for children ages newborn through 4 during the sermon time that you can feel free to use.  Adult Sunday School classes are held immediately after the service when children’s Sunday school and youth group are held.  You are also invited on the second Sunday of any month to stay for a meal after the service.

What to Expect

Before the service starts we have a time of visiting and coffee. There is also a group that meets to pray for the service around 9 AM. A typical service, which starts around 9:30, consists of worshiping God in English, Swahili, Gujarati, Hindi, and other languages throughout Africa songs mixed in. We then welcome visitors and have a time of corporate prayer. An offering is taken. A sermon is preached, usually as we go through a book of the bible. Every other week we receive communion, which is open to all professing believers in Jesus. After the Benediction, we give announcements and dismiss you to either go to Sunday School or depart.

The second Sunday of each month is our fellowship meal in place of Sunday School. All are welcome!

How to Dress

You may be comfortable dressing up or coming in casual attire. Whatever your preference is fine!

How can I give?

You can give through our MPESA Paybill Number

OUTE OF THE DAY

I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else.
